Common Issues & Solutions
First, check that the power cable is securely connected to both the treadmill and the wall outlet. Ensure the emergency stop key/magnet is properly attached. Check your circuit breaker to ensure the outlet has power. If the treadmill still won't start, contact our support team.
The belt may need to be tightened or lubricated. Turn off and unplug the treadmill. Check belt tension by lifting the center of the belt - it should lift approximately 2-3 inches. If too loose, tighten using the rear roller adjustment bolts. If the belt is dry, apply silicone lubricant according to your owner's manual. Never use WD-40 or petroleum-based products.
Unusual noises can indicate several issues: 1) Belt needs lubrication - apply silicone lubricant. 2) Belt is too tight - loosen rear roller bolts slightly. 3) Foreign object under belt - turn off, unplug, and inspect. 4) Worn bearings or rollers - contact support for replacement parts. Always unplug before inspecting.
Inconsistent speed can be caused by: 1) Loose drive belt - check and tighten if necessary. 2) Motor issues - check for overheating (allow to cool). 3) Control board malfunction - contact support. 4) Improper lubrication - clean and re-lubricate belt. Never run the treadmill continuously for more than 60 minutes without a 15-minute rest period.
If the display shows an error code, refer to your owner's manual for specific error meanings. Common fixes: 1) Unplug for 60 seconds to reset the system. 2) Check all cable connections are secure. 3) Ensure the safety key is properly inserted. If the problem persists, note the error code and contact our support team.
To center a belt that has shifted: 1) Turn on treadmill at low speed (no dog on it). 2) If belt moves to the left, turn the left rear roller bolt 1/4 turn clockwise. 3) If belt moves to the right, turn the right rear roller bolt 1/4 turn clockwise. 4) Allow belt to run for 1-2 minutes and observe. 5) Repeat small adjustments until centered. Make small adjustments only - over-tightening can damage bearings.
Regular maintenance schedule: Weekly - Wipe down belt and frame, check for debris. Monthly - Check belt tension and tracking, inspect for wear. Every 3 months - Lubricate belt, tighten all bolts, inspect electrical connections. Keep a maintenance log in your owner's manual.
Training tips: 1) Start with treadmill off - let dog explore and reward with treats. 2) Turn on at slowest speed with dog nearby. 3) Lure dog onto stationary belt with treats. 4) Start belt at very slow speed for 30 seconds. 5) Gradually increase time and speed over several sessions. 6) Always use positive reinforcement. 7) Never force or rush the process. Some dogs need 1-2 weeks to feel comfortable. See our training videos for detailed guidance.
